Foxes are highly adaptable animals that can easily make a home for themselves in the suburbs. While they may be harmless to humans, foxes aren’t so shy that they wouldn’t sneak onto your property in search of shelter or to help themselves to any small animals they may find there.
So, if you spot one of these beautiful animals hanging around your home, we recommend you call a wildlife professional.
Our team at Rite Way includes biologists and animal control experts who have the training and experience to humanely and safely remove a fox from your property. And not to worry, we’ll find a new home to the liking of your guest (and far away).
Protect your home and your pets by scheduling a fox removal.

Humane relocation of your visiting fox will only solve part of the problem. Here are some tips to make your property less attractive to foxes and keep them from coming back:
– Secure Your Garbage : Foxes love to rummage through your garbage. Tie up trash bags and keep your garbage bin closed tight. Don’t leave dinner out for them.
– Remove Other Food Sources : If you feed your pets outdoors, bring in the food dishes and water bowls after they’ve finished, so that a fox won’t come for the leftovers.
– Thin Out Large Brush : If you’ve got thick bushes around your property, thin them out so that unwanted guests won’t feel comfortable making themselves at home there. Naturally, if there’s space under your deck or porch, you should close off access to these places.
– Fence Them Out : To keep foxes out of your animal pens and gardens, specialty fencing is available that prevents them from climbing over. It’s just got to be tall enough that they can’t jump it at well (6 feet is sufficient), and buried a foot underground to discourage tunneling beneath it.
